Saskatchewan's newest celebrities were sharing stories in Saskatoon Friday morning.
Greg Johnson and his crew of tornado hunters were at Jerry's Food Emporium with their unique vehicle they call The Dominator. It's built to withstand the eye of a storm.
The pictures and video this team has taken of the numerous Saskatchewan tornados was one of the most talked about stories of the summer.
Johnson says he's most proud of the way their footage helped meteorologists.
“The person who's in that office looking at the computer screen watching the radar, they only have this two dimensional view from above of what that storm system looks like. Being able to see from our live feed exactly what was on the ground gives them the ability of what we call ground truth. And they were able to issue tornado warnings for people in the path of that storm based on what they were seeing on our live feed, so for me that's very gratifying."
