RCMP are looking for a 25-year-old sexual offender who may be in the Saskatoon or Prince Albert area.
Arrest warrants for Jeffery Ryan Wolverine, who also goes by Ryan Wolverine, were first issued in July after the man failed to appear in English River court in Patuanak, Sask. He’s charged with sexual assault and sexual interference of a person under the age of 16 for an incident that occurred in 2009.
Patuanak RCMP issued a media release regarding the arrest warrants shortly after Wolverine’s July 23 court date, but received no tips on his whereabouts.
“We received no tips on it or anything. At that time we didn’t have a photo,” said Cpl. David Vanghel.
RCMP issued a second media release Tuesday after attaining a photo of Wolverine. They received a tip shortly after sending the release that Wolverine was working in Saskatoon this August at the Giant Tiger store on 22nd Street West.
“I don’t think he’s employed there anymore but we’re still following up on it,” Vanghel said.
Wolverine, who is approximately 5’11” and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, was serving a community sentence before failing to appear at his July court date.
Wolverine was first charged in 2011.
