RCMP are still searching for two suspects in relation to a pair of violent home invasions on the Little Pine First Nation.

Five suspects — two men and two women — broke into the homes on the west-central Saskatchewan First Nation Friday afternoon, police said in a media release. The group was brandishing a rifle and assaulted occupants in each of the homes.

The suspects broke windows and damaged the houses while stealing an undisclosed amount of money.

The occupants, a 50-year-old man in one home and a 42-year-old man in the other residence, were injured during the incident. One was transported to Battlefords Union Hospital and has since been released.

Police arrested three of the suspects — Stacey Fox, Shailynn Littlechild and a 28-year-old who officers have yet to name —that night.

Fox, 37, is charged with pointing a firearm, robbery, breaking and entering, assault, mischief and possession of a weapon. Littlechild, 21, is charged with breaking and entering, robbery with a firearm and mischief. They appeared in North Battleford provincial court Monday.

The 28-year-old was released on the condition she appears at Cut Knife provincial court Nov. 4.

The remaining two suspects are still at-large, police said. Warrants have been issued for their arrests.

Preston Boyd Wahobin, 32, and Elsie Darlene McArthur, 30, are known to reside in the Cut Knife area, according to RCMP. Wahobin, however, may also be in Saskatoon, Edmonton or Calgary.

Anyone with information on the pair’s whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP. The suspects should not be approached, police said.

Little Pine First Nation is located 50 kilometres northwest of North Battleford.
