The Pike Lake Provincial Park swimming pool and waterslide is getting a $240,000 boost from the province for upgrades.
Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Ken Cheveldayoff made the announcement Wednesday morning at the provincial park.
"Provincial parks are an important part of Saskatchewan's quality of life and are more popular than ever," Cheveldayoff said. "Projects like these help to ensure that everyone who visits our parks have (sic) a great experience."
The swimming pool and waterslide were constructed in 1986. The province says upgrades will ensure the facility remains in good condition for years to come.
Repairs will take place in the fall, after the summer season.
