A couple of moose sightings kept Saskatoon police busy Monday morning.

The first sighting happened in the 100 block of Weyakwin Drive, causing traffic restrictions. The animal was eventually tranquilized and taken out of the city by Saskatchewan Environment and Management officials.

The second sighting came in to police at around the same time, in the 200 block of Avenue V North. When officers responded, the moose had already fled the area.

Traffic restrictions have since been lifted and traffic has returned to normal.
