One lucky driver walked away without serious injuries after their vehicle slid into a train near Langham, the Saskatchewan RCMP says.

Around 9:40 a.m. on Monday, officers from the Warman detachment were called to a collision between a car and train on Range Road 3071, about three kilometres east of Langham just north of Highway 305, the RCMP said in a news release. They were joined at the scene by Corman Park Police, CN Police and paramedics.

The RCMP says winter conditions were likely a factor, as the car slid into the train. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was treated at the scene and released.

The Warman RCMP is still investigating.
