Pat McKay has been on the Saskatoon sports scene since 2011 and is proud to be a part of the CTV Saskatoon team. You can see him bring his unique style of enthusiasm, knowledge and energy to the desk every weeknight at 6 p.m.
A lifelong sports fan, his career highlights include covering the World Junior Hockey Championship in Saskatchewan in 2009, the 2013 Memorial Cup here in Saskatoon, back-to-back University Cups with the Huskies, jet-setting across Northern Saskatchewan on the Riders Grey Cup Northern Tour, and welcoming the Saskatchewan Rush to the Bridge City.
Pat has worked in several different markets across the Prairies, including Calgary, Lloydminster, Yorkton, Regina and Saskatoon, covering everything from crop stories and floods to high school football and the NHL.
Graduating from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, the Edmonton product resides in Saskatoon with his wife Bobby-Jo and dog Murphy Brown (yes, he knows that was a ’90s sitcom about a reporter).
Pat loves being active and giving back, running in marathons and triathlons in and around Saskatoon, and was on the committee for the Movember Charity Street Hockey tournament in support of Men’s Health.
