Creeson Agecoutay is no longer with CTV Saskatchewan
Since joining CTV News in 2008, Creeson Agecoutay has worked as a Video Journalist for CTV Regina and CTV’s Indigenous Circle, winning a number of national and regional RTDNA awards with Indigenous Circle. He later became host of Indigenous Circle in 2013.
Originally from the Cowessess First Nation on Treaty 4 Territory, Creeson has covered numerous stories in many First Nations and rural communities across the province and North America. He enjoys meeting and visiting with community members whenever he is on the road. He has also covered many environmental stories including the 2011 flood in Saskatchewan and the Northern Trapper’s Alliance protest camp near La Ronge.
Creeson holds a Journalism Degree from the University of Regina’s School of Journalism and graduated from the First Nations University of Canada in Regina.
Creeson speaks English and some Nehiyaw (Cree).
