The K+S potash mine near Bethune is getting a big delivery.
A crystallizer unit more than 12 metres high, 11 metres wide and 62 metres long left JNE Welding in Saskatoon at 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The structure, weighing almost 330 tonnes, is set to arrive at the mine Thursday.
The crystallizer will head northwest on Highway 16 before moving to a series of side roads and then onto highways 7 and 45 during day one Tuesday.
The unit will then hit the 15 and 11 highways before arriving in Bethune.
Motorists can expect slower traffic during the move.
