A man with outstanding warrants is in RCMP custody after a dramatic arrest caught on camera in North Battleford.
The dashcam video — which was posted to YouTube on Tuesday by user kcwservice — shows Mounties in an unmarked minivan stop their vehicle at an intersection in the north-central Saskatchewan city and tackle the suspect. Backup officers quickly arrive on scene to help with the arrest.
RCMP say the man was wanted on existing warrants and was the subject of several complaints to police over the weekend.
He was not injured during the arrest, but one officer was sent to hospital with a shoulder injury, according to police.
