A fire in Thunderchild First Nation has left approximately 70 people without a home.
The blaze broke out around 3:00 p.m. Monday at a former dorm that had 20 housing units. Part of the building is still standing, but it isn’t known if it’s salvageable.
The Thunderchild band office is accepting donations.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
