CTV Saskatoon is almost finished putting up a new digital broadcast antenna on its tower near Aberdeen.

By August 31, most Canadian local television stations will be broadcasting in a digital format. If you get cable or satellite TV, the change should not affect you. But if you get your television signal with rabbit ears, you may need a digital converter for your television set.

The change to digital is to accommodate the growing number of frequencies for new channels. It also provides a better quality picture. By the fall, you'll be able to enjoy a clearer, crisper CTV Saskatoon.
