A 35-year-old woman is in hospital after a stabbing on Sunday morning.
Police were called to the 900 block of Avenue J South around 9:45 a.m. after a report of a stabbing victim showing up at a residence. According to police, the stabbing actually happened in the 300 block of Avenue K South. Police say the suspect was known to the victim and fled the scene.
The victim suffered a single chest injury that was non-life threatening. She was taken to hospital for treatment and was not being fully cooperative with police.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
