Two teens arrested following reports of guns and stolen truck

Two teenage boys are in custody after reports of three males armed with guns driving a stolen truck.

At approximately 6:20 a.m., Saskatoon police received reports of three men armed with what appeared to be two guns, standing at the corner of Avenue F and 18^th Street West.

They were seen getting out of a Dodge truck.

Officers responded to the scene and located the truck nearby.

It had been reported stolen from Martensville.

The SPS Canine Unit was able to track a residence in the 400 block of Avenue H South.

Two teen boys were taken into custody at that location and imitation firearm was recovered.

Both are facing charges of possession of stolen property over $5000.

The investigation is ongoing.
