RCMP are investigating a series of farmyard thefts that saw two pickups trucks stolen in west central Saskatchewan.

Mounties said several farms were entered north of Macklin on Highway 17 between 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Monday. Fuel and other items were taken from unlocked outbuildings and vehicles before a Chevrolet truck was stolen.

The truck was later found rolled in a ditch east of Wilkie.

Days later, on early Wednesday morning, two suspects entered a farmyard north of Wilkie and stole a Ford F450 truck.

The truck — described as a white 2008 crew-cab truck with a toolbox — has yet to be found.

Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to contact RCMP at 306-228-6300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Wilkie is located 140 kilometres west of Saskatoon. Macklin sits near the Alberta-Saskatchewan border, about 85 kilometres west of Wilkie.
