Two people are in custody after early morning police chase in the city.
A vehicle reported stolen out of North Battleford was spotted on a highway coming into Saskatoon by RCMP at approximately 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
An attempt by RCMP to pull the vehicle over saw the suspects attempt to flee, but Saskatoon police were to disable the vehicle using stop sticks.
Two suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, but a police canine unit and patrol officers located the suspects several blocks away.
Two men, aged 19 and 21, are facing charges of possession of stolen property and failing to stop for police
The police street gang unit is assisting in the investigation.
