What began as a routine traffic stop quickly became a major drug seizure for Saskatoon police.

Just after 4:00 p.m. Friday, a vehicle was pulled over at 13th Street and Clarence Ave for a traffic violation.

However, a quick search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of narcotics, which police believe were packaged for distribution.

Two of the three occupants of the vehicle are now in custody. One faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and the other was found breaching a conditional sentence order.
