It’s almost Telemiracle time again! The 41st edition of the annual Saskatchewan telethon will take place at TCU Place in Saskatoon this year.

Proceeds from the telethon go to the Kinsmen Foundation to help people and organizations with medical expenses they can’t afford.

“Just a few years ago, we approved 651 applications for funding in a year,” Cindy Xavier, Executive Director of the Kinsmen Foundation, said in a media release. “We’re already on track to be close to a thousand gifts for this year.”

PotashCorp will also match all money raised by the telethon, up to a total of $150,000.

The event will feature over 60 performances by talent from across Saskatchewan. New national cast members Big Daddy Tazz, Delhi 2 Dublin, Darren Dutchyshen, Holly Woods and Toronto, the Hunter Brothers and the Sojourners will also be featured.

The telethon will run for 20 hours. The show starts at 9 p.m. on March 4.
