A 22-year-old Saskatoon woman is in custody after a domestic assault Saturday morning.
Police were called to a home in the 100 block of St Lawrence Crescent just before noon on Saturday.
According to police, a resident said a domestic situation had turned violent and the offender had left the home. The woman returned to the home shortly after and was verbally and physically aggressive towards police.
Police say the woman assaulted the officers and they had to deploy an electrical weapon (CEW or Taser).
The police officers were not injured and remained on duty.
The woman was taken into custody and is facing several charges, including domestic assault, assaulting a police officer and mischief.
