Suspicious death under investigation in northern Sask.

Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 17-year-old boy in the community of Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation.

RCMP were called Saturday morning to a home where they discovered the 17-year-old. He needed medical attention and was taken by police to the Angelique Canada Health Centre where he was pronounced dead.

The boy’s death is being investigated by Pelican Narrows RCMP. They say that details are limited because the investigation is in the early stages. More information will be released as it becomes available.
