Saskatoon Police Service is opening up its headquarters for a public barbecue today.

“The annual BBQ is one of the few opportunities that citizens are able to tour the headquarters,” a police media release reads.

This year’s BBQ features a dunk tank to raise money for Special Olympics Saskatchewan, through the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The fire department, search and rescue crews, Crime Stoppers and the police’s canine unit are a few of the special service teams that will be present at the event.

A police dog demonstration is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

The barbecue runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
