Police are looking for two suspects after a taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday.

The driver picked up two men from a business at Idylwyld Drive and 33rd Street at approximately 2 a.m., Saskatoon police said in a news release.

The passengers told the driver to pull over just a few blocks away near 35th Street and Avenue C. One man pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The suspects fled on foot.

Both men are described as native. One was in his late 20s or early 30s, 5-foot-10 with short, black hair and a slim build. He was wearing a blue and white checked shirt and grey sweatpants. The other had black hair shaved short on the sides, and was 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 in height with an average build.
