Police have confirmed that the identity of the victim of a homicide on March 12, 2015 is 42-year-old Rocky Genereaux of Saskatoon.
Shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday, emergency crews responded to a 911 call about an injured man at a home in the 400 block of Avenue I South.
When police arrived, they found a man suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries a short time later.
Investigators from the Major Crime Unit continue to investigate. Police say the investigation is in the early stages and no arrests have been made.
The death is the city's second homicide of 2015.
