Protestors calling for environmental protections took to the streets today in Saskatoon.

The protest to stop pipelines and tar sands expansion was part of a national rally called ‘Defend Our Climate,’ which saw demonstrations across Canada. Demonstrators want the federal government to enact stricter environmental laws.

Saskatoon protestors rallied at Midtown Plaza. They held up signs and played musical instruments as they marched to Conservative MP Kelly Block’s office on 22nd Street.

Block’s office was closed.
