Four suspects are in custody after RCMP in La Ronge seized nearly $20,000 worth of cocaine.

Mounties conducted a traffic stop south of La Ronge on Highway 2 early Tuesday morning. Police found six ounces of a substance they believe to be cocaine, according to an RCMP media release.

The street value is estimated to be between $15,000 and $20,000.

Four people — two men and two women — were taken into custody.

Charges were not yet laid as of early Tuesday afternoon, but the accused were scheduled to appear in La Ronge provincial court Thursday.
