A man facing second-degree murder charges in the death of Monica Burns has pleaded not guilty.
Todd Daniel McKeaveney elected in Prince Albert provincial court Thursday to be tried by a judge and jury.
The 38-year-old was arrested in January after Burns, who was 28, was found dead on a snowmobile trail north of Prince Albert.
He was remanded in custody Thursday until his preliminary hearing, which is set for late September.
