A missing 21-year-old man has been found in a ditch near the Saskatoon City landfill entrance.

Police say they received a call just after noon Sunday after two patrons of the landfill noticed a body lying motionless in the ditch.

Emergency crews were able to locate the man and provide medical assistance. He was unconscious and appeared to be suffering from hypothermia. He has been taken to hospital and is in critical condition at this time.

While police are not releasing his name, they are saying he is 21 years of age and had been reported missing from Prince Albert at approximately 7 a.m. Sunday.

Police are still investigating, and anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon Police.
