A 35-year-old man is dead after being attacked early Monday at an apartment building in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood.
The man was attacked after intruders entered his suite in the building located in the 1400 block of 20th Street West, Saskatoon police said in a news release.
When officers arrived at the scene just after midnight they found the man suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
It is Saskatoon's seventh homicide of the year.
Police say the incident was not a random attack but released no other information as investigators remained at the scene early Monday.
A date for an autopsy is expected to be determined later in the day Monday.
