The former owner of Avocado restaurant in Saskatoon has pleaded guilty to three charges of labour standards violations.

Troy Miller pleaded guilty to the charges on October 16 to three counts of failing to pay final wages within 14 days of termination, as laid out in the Labour Standards Act. He was fined $930 for the violations.

These are not the first violations Miller has been charged with. In August, Miller was also charged with two counts of failing to pay annual holiday pay, and two charges of failing to pay employees required to report for duty a minimum $28.50. The four charges were stayed in court.

Avocado restaurant has been closed since June of 2013.
