Friends and family of Dorothy Woods gathered Saturday morning at Vimy Memorial Saturday morning to remember their lost loved one.

After being missing for close to two months, police found Woods' remains near Blackstrap Lake Wednesday afternoon.

They have charged a 49-year-old man with her murder.

Days after Woods went missing, police named her 49-year-old husband David Woods a person of interest in the case.

"We did have a 49-year-old male person of interest, that has never changed, and it is that person we have charged with murder," police spokesperson Alyson Edwards said at a press conference Friday afternoon.

The accused will make his first court appearance in Saskatoon on Monday. Woods' entire family plans to attend. They say they won't have closure until they find out what happened to her, and why.
