Passengers on a flight from Toronto to Saskatoon went through some tense moments Friday night.

WestJet flight 323 turned around after reaching cruising altitude when pilots discovered a cabin pressure problem.

Pilots tried to do what they could to address the problem in the air, but were unsuccessful. They lowered oxygen masks for passengers as a precaution, rapidly declined and headed back to Toronto.

A spokesperson for WestJet said the oxygen masks weren’t a necessity and that there were no reports of any injuries on the flight. All passengers’ flights were rescheduled, with each passenger leaving Toronto a few hours after the original flight.
