Ed Sheeran left Saskatchewan with more than a great night of music this summer.
The musician, who sold out SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, donated $10,000 to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital while he was in town.
A hospital representative said Sheeran’s team reached out while he was in the city. They asked the hospital to keep the donation under wraps for a while.
The hospital communications team released the secret Tuesday alongside an update on the hospital’s construction.
The hospital, which is slated to open in 2019, is so far 66 per cent complete.
