The driver of a stolen vehicle hit a tree and power pole near the 900 block of Heritage Crescent, shortly after midnight.
Saskatoon police attempted to stop the 2007 GMC Sierra truck near Briarwood Road and Beechdale Crescent.
The driver refused to stop and sped away, hitting the tree and pole.
A 44-year-old man was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of break-and-enter tools and breaching court conditions.
Police are looking for a second man, who fled after the incident.
