Traffic is moving again on Idylwyld Drive, after a massive sinkhole opened up Monday morning, taking up an entire traffic lane.
Officials were able to remove the barricades that were detouring traffic.
The sinkhole appeared after a watermain break underneath the road. The city says the amount of water built up in the sinkhole suggests the line broke weeks ago, but crews had no way of knowing until the lane caved in.
The sinkhole spanned three metres. It was wide enough to swallow a car.
