REGINA - The first cabinet of Prime Minister Stephen Harper's majority government is raising eyebrows in Saskatchewan.

Premier Brad Wall says he's grateful that Saskatchewan member of Parliament Gerry Ritz will remain agriculture minister.

But Wall says he's concerned that the new natural resources minister -- rookie Toronto MP Joe Oliver -- is not from Western Canada.

The premier says Western Canada is the storehouse for natural resources.

He thinks the file should be represented by a westerner because the region accounts for most of the country's oil, gas, uranium and coal.

Two of Saskatchewan's 13 members of Parliament got cabinet posts, while Wall notes that four of the five Quebec Conservative MPs were named to cabinet.
