Two drivers were sent to hospital Saturday after a car and work truck crashed in Saskatoon’s north end.
The collision occurred before noon at the intersection of Idylwyld Drive and 71st Street. A three-ton work truck and car collided.
The truck rolled into the ditch and the car ended up in the median of the divided highway.
The truck’s driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the car’s driver suffered minor injuries, according to emergency crews on scene.
Both vehicles were significantly damaged.
Idylwyld Drive’s northbound lanes were shut down as crews cleared the scene, which backed up traffic to Marquis Drive. The southbound lanes remained open.
