Saskatoon priest accused of sexually assaulting child headed to trial

A Saskatoon priest is going to trial for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor.

Reverend Janko Kolosnjaji has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault.

The 69-year-old is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church on March 11.

Kolosnjaji’s trial is scheduled for January 24 at Saskatoon Provincial Court.

Kolosnjaji has been suspended from his pastoral and administrative duties pending the outcome of the charge.
