Sask. RCMP investigate suspicious death at Red Earth Cree Nation

Saskatchewan RCMP have charged a man after a suspicious death at Red Earth Cree Nation.

RCMP were called to a report of an altercation at a home at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Sean McKay, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Daven Head, 20, of Red Earth Cree Nation, is charged with one count of second-degree murder.

He is also charged with one count of aggravated assault in relation to a second man and one count of failure to comply with an undertaking.

Head appeared in Nipawin Provincial Court on Thursday, RCMP say.
