Rory MacLean
Rory MacLean is a web journalist for CTV News Saskatoon, a position that marks a return to news media after ten wayward years.
He spent four years as a general assignment reporter for The StarPhoenix before making a transition to broadcast advertising and later, communications, working with the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations.
Rory has an obsessive mind, which he usually sets to thinking about food. He thought he wanted to be a chef, and spent a year working sauté in a farm-to-table restaurant. Most recently, he worked with the Saskatoon Public Library while studying to get into the nursing program at the University of Saskatchewan. Perhaps you can tell he has ADHD.
Rory has an honour’s degree in political theory from the U of S. He speaks English and some French.
