Two people are facing numerous charges after they took Saskatoon Police on a late-night car chase.
Patrol members say they spotted a stolen vehicle in the 700 block of 33rd Street West just after 11:00 p.m. Monday. Police say officers attempted a traffic stop, but the two people inside the stolen vehicle drove off.
Officers pursued the vehicle to the East side of the city and used stop sticks to pull the car over at Circle Drive and Attridge Drive.
Police say a 36-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman are facing charges of theft of a vehicle, evading police, and numerous provincial charges. Both will appear in provincial court Tuesday morning.
