Two suspects arrested last week in connection to Saskatoon's second homicide of the year have been charged.

Michael Robertson, 28, and Nicole Paddy, 27, appeared in court Monday. Robertson was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 42-year-old Rocky Genereaux. Paddy was charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Genereaux was found March 12 with serious injuries at a home on the 400 block of Avenue I South. He died a short time later in hospital.

Canada-wide arrest warrants were issued for Robertson, who is a known member of a Saskatoon street gang, and Paddy shortly after the death.

Patrol and canine officers arrested the pair early Friday morning with help from the Saskatoon police plane.

Robertson is scheduled back in court Friday. Paddy’s next appearance is set for April 30.
