Saskatoon police charged two more people Wednesday in connection to the death of Dylan Phillips.

An 18-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were charged with first-degree murder and committing murder for the benefit of a criminal organization, police said in a media release.

Both were scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

Phillips, who was 26, died of a gunshot wound Oct. 14, 2016, at a home on the 1400 block of Avenue G North, according to police.

The death was the city’s 10th homicide of the year.

The two people charged Wednesday are also accused of two counts of assault with a weapon stemming from the same incident but involving two other people.

All charges against the pair are identical to charges announced last week against a 15-year-old boy also accused in the death.
