Saskatoon welcomes first baby of 2025

Saskatoon’s first baby of 2025 arrived just 19 minutes into the new year at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital.
Born at 12:19 a.m. on Jan. 1, Atticus Marcien Harper Vandale became Saskatoon's first baby of 2025.
According to the Saskatchewan Health Authoriy (SHA), the baby weighed in at a healthy six pounds 13 ounces.
His parents, Angelique Zimmerman and Glen Vandale, are from Saskatoon and are all doing well, the SHA said.
According to SHA, the family has not provided a photo of the baby, or consented to the release of a photo.
