The town of La Ronge is enacting a curfew to combat a recent rash of break-ins and vandalism.
Anyone under the age of 18 is expected to be off the streets between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., unless they’re with a parent or guardian. The rules are part of a 10-year-old bylaw that has been rarely enforced.
The town’s council is also considering citizen patrol and exploring what other communities are doing to prevent youth from loitering and taking part in illegal activity.
