The case of a dog that was shot and killed on a rural property east of Saskatoon has been forwarded to prosecutors to consider charges.
Saskatoon RCMP say officers have completed the investigation into an April 11 complaint that an eight-month-old St. Bernard had been shot on property adjacent to the property of its owners.
Police say the investigation included interviewing witnesses at the scene.
The results of the investigation have been sent to Crown prosecutors for a decision on whether charges will be laid in connection with the incident.
