A cyclist involved in a hit-and-run collision in Saskatoon during the weekend has died of his injuries.

The collision happened at 23rd Street and Avenue U North at approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Witnesses said a SUV had stopped next to the 32-year-old male cyclist and the vehicle's occupants were arguing with the man. The victim is believed to have been leaning against the vehicle when it sped away, dragging him for a short distance.

No arrests have been made in the incident, but police are looking for a dark-coloured vehicle that may have damage such as scrapes to the passenger side.
