Cameron Scott has been nominated as the Saskatchewan Party’s candidate for the upcoming byelection in Saskatoon Fairview.
Scott is currently elected to the Saskatoon Public School board as a trustee for Ward 4.
The nomination comes after Jennifer Campeau stepped down to take a job with Rio Tinto in B.C.
Scott will run against Vicki Mowat who won the NDP nomination last week.
A byelection must be held within six months to fill the vacant seat.
