A bail hearing has been rescheduled for a Saskatoon woman facing multiple impaired driving charges in connection to a crash that killed a family of four.

Catherine Loye McKay appeared Wednesday in Saskatoon Provincial Court via video. She was set to have a bail hearing, but the hearing was adjourned.

The 49-year-old is facing 12 charges, including impaired driving causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and impaired operation over 0.08 causing death.

She was arrested after the Jan. 3 crash north of Saskatoon killed parents Jordan and Chanda Van De Vorst and their two young children, five-year-old Kamryn and two-year-old Miguire. 

McKay, who was the executive director of the Saskatoon Sports Council, has been in custody since the crash.

Wednesday’s bail hearing was rescheduled for Feb. 23.
