Two men have been arrested in connection with a homicide on the Red Earth First Nation.
On Saturday morning Carrot River RCMP responded to a call about an injured 42-year-old man. When they arrived they found him deceased. They determined that he was the victim of a homicide.
That afternoon a 16-year-old youth and a 20-year-old man were arrested for murder at two separate homes on the Red Earth First Nation.
Several major crime, general investigation, and forensic identifications are assisting Carrot River RCMP with the investigation.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday in Saskatoon.
The investigation is ongoing.
Names of the people who were arrested will not be released at this time because charges have not been laid.
