Gordon Wyant

Wyant was elected as the MLA for Saskatoon Northwest in an October 2010 by-election with 59 per cent of the popular vote.

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Wyant was the first Canadian-born member of his family. He completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction in 1985, and graduated from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan in 1986. Shortly after convocation, Wyant began practicing law with the firm of McKercher LLP, where he is currently practicing as a partner. In 1987, Wyant received an award for highest standing in the 1987 Bar Admission Course. He received his Queen's Counsel designation in 2009.

Since 2000, Wyant has also been an active public servant. He was elected as Trustee for the Saskatoon Public School Board in 2000 and served as Chair for two years. He was elected City Councillor for Ward 5 in 2003 and was re-elected in 2006 and 2009. Wyant has served on numerous committees of council including chairing the Planning and Operations Committee since 2006 and serving on two standing committees on the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.

Wyant and his wife Christine Hrudka have four children.

Luke Bonsan

Bonsan has resided in Saskatoon for over 10 years and is dedicated to ending corruption and poverty. Bonsan wants to truly represent his constituents over corporate influence. Bonsan feels the Green Party has the strongest vision for a healthy future in Saskatchewan.

Bonson is dedicated to moving toward implementing a guaranteed livable income, phasing out university tuition fees, and banning nuclear waste in Saskatchewan.

Nicole White – NDP

Nicole White

White is currently the Executive Coordinator at AIDS Saskatoon. She has previously worked as a reporter in rural Saskatchewan and with a variety of non-profit organizations, including as a Program Manager for the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association. She studied broadcasting at the Western Academy Broadcasting College and English and History at the University of Saskatchewan.

White is also involved with numerous committees and boards, including Quint Housing Corporation. She has served as the Chair of the Saskatoon Police Advisory Committee on Diversity, Co Chair of the Provincial Youth Advisory Committee, and Chair of the College of Education's Breaking the Silence Conference. Her contributions have been recognized with many honours, including the YWCA Women of Distinction "Young Woman to Watch" Award, the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal, the U of S Doug Wilson Award, the Avenue Community Centre's Community Service Award, and as a nominee for the 2009 Athena Young Professional Award.

White and her spouse Jai Richards have been married for five years.
